**About the facility**

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

The Pharmacy Department is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education and in the medical course at Deakin University. Staff are supported for continuing education and postgraduate studies.

**About the role**

As the Pharmacy Technician you will be required to fill a permanent part time position within Barwon Health's Pharmacy Department, based at University Hospital Geelong where you may be required to work across all three campuses of Barwon Health.

You will be supporting the Outpatients Pharmacist and ward Pharmacists in providing quality service to both the outpatients and inpatients of the hospital.

This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a current knowledge of the PBS.

- Current hospital or community pharmacy experience

Desirable;
- Experience with PBS
