We are looking for a Technical Project Leader who will be responsible for Project Leadership of assigned projects - single point of accountability for technical delivery and responsible for communication with stakeholders on all technical matters. Reporting to the R&D Manager and accountable for excellence in Project Management, including the project timeline. Highly capable in Project & Stakeholder Management - able to effectively manage complex projects with regional scope plus difficult and/or virtual relationships. Responsible for formulation and claims development, technical problem-solving and regulatory compliance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Leading the OTIF delivery of all relevant R&D tasks for all allocated projects- Shaping and agreeing the technical objectives and milestones of a project with stakeholders, planning strategically what, how and through whom to deliver- Representing the technical project group on the core project team- Leading and co-ordinating input from critical functional capabilities- Developing new products that meet marketing briefs to specified timelines, ensuring compliance with desired product quality, nutrition, cost and safety attributes.- Managing risk, claims and legal compliance with local and regional requirements- Ensuring compliance to the Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHE and QA policies, including the support of product claims, risk management and driving Unilever’s sustainability agenda.
Does this sound like You?- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or related discipline- 8-10 years technical experience, with strong Savoury (Wet/Dry) and Dressings product development skills.- Proven track record of OTIF project delivery- Personal Mastery & Agility.- You are self-driven, curious & embrace challenges- Able to bring clarity to complex situations- Strong consumer and customer focus- Skilled in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes covering raw materials, recipes and specifications- Formal training or experience in project management- Demonstrable Leadership skills- Good communication skills- Passionate about Food
