_Our St Ali team is expanding Located within Monash University, Clayton Campus, Church of Secular Coffee is a busy cafe that caters to the staff and students of the university. With everything opening up post-Covid, and students coming back, a boom in business means that we are looking for an experienced and motivated full-time 2IC Cafe Manager to join our team._

**_Working within the university has great perks: _**
- Operation Hours - Monday to Wednesday 8-5pm
- Operation Hours - Thursday to Friday 8-6pm
- Majority of the main public holidays off
- Summer off (Christmas to mid-January)

**The successful applicant for this role will have the following qualities**:

- A passion for all things food and beverage
- 1-2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Experience in running the day, autonomously
- Sound knowledge of restaurant operations
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide all front-of-house staff
- Strong focus on exceeding customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Bonus points if you have barista experience

**The role will include the following responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the facilitation of smooth and well-managed service periods with the aim of delivering a memorable dining experience
- Mentoring all front-of-house staff
- Maintaining wage and beverage costs within set budgets
- Financial responsibility, including cash handling, balancing, and wage forecasting
- Use your leadership skills to drive a passionate team.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
