**Job description**

We are seeking some casual medical receptionists to join our dynamic team here at Myhealth Bondi Junction. We are a well-regarded, busy medical centre and are looking for an individual who is determined, passionate and willing to continuously learn.

We also have other clinics that may require help from casual staff so flexibility to work around other location would be highly beneficial.

**Preferred requirements**:

- Flexible working hours
- Available 10-25 hours a week (casual)
- Experience using Best Practice software or similar
- Understanding of Australian Healthcare system
- Current CPR certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously
- The ability to work across multiple sites is highly desirable.
- Passionate about primary healthcare
- Friendly and works well as part of a team
- Caring and attentive attitude towards fellow staff, patients and doctors
- Strong work ethic with willingness to learn
- Highly organised & able to multitask
- Reliable and works well under pressure
- Willingness to assist in tasks beyond job description

**Job tasks and responsibilities include**:

- As the first point of contact to patients, greeting patients upon arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork is crucial.
- Managing a large volume of calls which requires exceptional phone manner and demonstrated ability to seamlessly handle competing inquiries.
- Booking appointments and providing relevant procedural information
- Billing and receipting patient accounts
- Document scanning
- Reconciling daily banking
- Cold chain management

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
