**Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) - Birthing Suite, Maternity Assessment Unit & Pregnancy Day Stay**
- Join our multidisciplinary team of passionate clinicians providing maternity care to women in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

**THE ROLE**:

- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital within the Maternity Service
- Full time Monday-Friday 0800-1630
- Manage our 9 bed Birthing Suite, 24 hour Maternity Assessment Unit and 6 bed Pregnancy Day Stay
- Role modelling and providing effective midwifery leadership and strategic direction, in partnership with the MUM of Postnatal Unit, Midwifery in the Home and Lactation Services
- You will be well supported by the Deputy Director of Women's & Children's Services and the Divisional Director, Perioperative and Specialist Services and Women's & Children's Services
- Future career progression opporunities in our expanding service

**ABOUT YOU**:
**Seeking**:

- Current midwifery registration with AHPRA
- A midwifery leader who has extensive experience in a Midwifery Unit Manager role.
- Demonstrates positive collaborative skills in an established multidisciplinary team.
- Sound knowledge of management processes including HR, clinical risk and effective financial management
- Recent experience leading birthing services essential
- Level 3 FSEP and proficient in performing Third Trimester Ultrasound
- Masters qualification in Midwifery Leadership or Health Services Leadership (or working towards)
