**About Us**:
The Finance and Procurement business unit provides department-wide financial, procurement and workplace services through strategic leadership and setting the direction, policy, and processes, and partnering with the department to build capability.

Procurement and Property Services monitors and reports on procurement performance and manages several high-profile strategic projects to minimise procurement risk and support the delivery of value for money. It is also responsible for the effective operation and management of asset maintenance, fleet and property, and facilities management services across the department.

**About the Role**:
The role is a part of the ICT Sourcing team which is responsible for delivering ICT goods and services contracts that provide value-for-money to the department and works closely with the other teams in the branch to support delivery of the department's strategic objectives through provision of procurement and property services.

Some of your duties will include:

- Contributing to ICT procurement activities to facilitate effective outcomes for departmental business areas.
- Supporting the ongoing maintenance of relevant procurement systems and enablers including the monitoring of performance targets and other key deliverables.

**About You**:

- **Procurement delivery**: Has knowledge and experience in end-to-end ICT procurement.
- **Market analysis**: Delivers high quality market analysis reports identifying relevant and realistic opportunities.
- **Strategic sourcing**: Develop high quality RFx documentation in line with defined framework.
- **Procurement evaluation**: Undertakes evaluation activities in line with defined plan and prepare high quality evaluation reports.
- Qualifications:_
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement, supply chain, commerce, law, ICT or business administration is highly desirable.
- Experience / understanding of government procurement and policies will be highly desirable.
