We currently have an amazing opportunity for a **Livestock Sourcing Specialist **to join our lamb sourcing team.
In February 2021 Woolworths Group established Greenstock, a stand-alone beef, pork and lamb business. **About the Opportunity
This role will also see you:
- Take the lead on new models to market, partnering across our supply chain to deliver customer-led solutions to our channels, including partnering with the sustainability team to ensure we lead in animal welfare, sustainability and quality
- Design and implement in partnership with the other GM’s new and innovative sourcing strategies including farmer assurance programs that deliver a competitive advantage to our sales channels
- Establish a National sustainable and scalable supply of lamb livestock
- Develop and report on weekly and monthly commercial metrics providing visibility on costs, volumes, supply, DIFOT and general performance
- Ensuring Greenstock continues to lead in quality and continue to evolve and improve in this space
Whilst ideally the role is based in reasonable proximity to Stawell, we support flexibility and are open to other regional locations.

You have a deep understanding of livestock buying gained through your experience working within either an agri business, meat production or supply chain. You’re a natural problem solver who likes to look at tackling challenges with innovative solutions and have previous experience in leadership roles. Most importantly, you understand the importance of fostering strong relationships with your stakeholders through a consultative and collaborative approach.
Stakeholder engagement is no secret for you You have outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate with key partners.
Finally, you will ideally have have great understanding of lamb livestock, strong commercial and financial acumen skills
