Human Resources Officer needed to join a State Government Department immediately

**Your new company**

A State Government Department is looking for an Human Resources Officer to join their team. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis. This role is needing someone to start immediately.

**Your new role**

As an experienced an Human Resources Officer you will Provides support in various human resource activities and may be directed to provide assistance in one or more of the following areas:

- Workforce planning
- Reporting and analysis
- Learning and development
- Equity and diversity
- Organisational design
- Job analysis and preparation of position descriptions
- Recruitment and selection
- Redeployment and career transition
- Classification determination
- Employee relations
- Consultancy and advisory service to management and staff
- Human resource process development
- Any other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience providing support in a human resource environment
- Ability to research, analyse and make evidence-based recommendations
- Ability to build and maintain strong work relationships
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate public service professionalism
