Mercy Palliative Care is seeking casual Health Care workers in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Join our team in providing high quality care to patients in the community.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:Join our friendly team and a leading provider of palliative care services in Melbourne. Our aim is to maximize the quality of life by provision of the highest standard symptom management and support.
- Our service has offices located in Werribee, Sunshine and Parkville.
- Provide palliative care to terminally ill patients in the community, and support their families.
- Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely care to patients/carers.
- Predominantly night duty covering annual leave and sick leave.
- Pool car and electronic devices provided as required.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care or Individual support.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across a variety of shifts including night duty and respite.
- Current and Valid Drivers licence essential.
- Demonstrated understanding of patient
- centred care.

- Mercy Palliative Care is a community palliative care service operating in the Western region of Melbourne and provides a holistic multidisciplinary approach to palliative care. We provide psychological and spiritual support, caring for people of all ages with life-limiting illnesses in their homes as well as complex symptom management. We currently care for over 500 patients across the region in their own homes.
