**About Us**:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability and Mental Health Support Workers for a valued client in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) property located in Sunshine, Victoria. The client is a 20-year-old male who requires 24-hour care, 7 days a week. This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful support to someone living with disability and mental health challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

**Salary**: Competitive Hourly Rate (based on qualifications and experience)
**About the Role**:
You will provide essential 24-hour care and support to our male client in a SIL setting. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist him in managing his daily routine, providing companionship, and ensuring his overall well-being. The role includes maintaining a supportive living environment, while being an encouraging presence in his life.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Personal Care**:Assist with personal care needs as required, ensuring the client's dignity and comfort.
**Routine Management**:Help the client manage daily tasks, provide emotional encouragement, and support the development of independence.
**Transportation**:Assist with travel to appointments and activities as necessary.
**Household Assistance**:Support with light household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
**Companionship**:Establish a trusting and supportive relationship, providing emotional and social support.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
**Experience**: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges is highly desirable.
**Driver’s License**:A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.
**Clearances**: Current First Aid/CPR certification, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check.
**Skills**:Strong communication, empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
