**URGENT NDIS Assistance with Daily Personal Activities**

1 X NDIS SUPPORT PERSONAL CARE WORKERS - WALKERVILLE & HILLCREST SA
- **Casual worker #1 Hours: 2 hour/shifts (daytime) 3 days per week.**:

- **10-12pm approx. MONDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY, WALKERVILLE - memory loss**

ACTIVELY Listen to clients stories,

Shopping

Make lunch in a timely manner, stay with her to ensure she eats the meal

Knowledge of cooking a protein such as fish or meat with salad or vegetables.

Take to appointments as required

Must be of patient and kind disposition. Client can be moody

Medication assistance

REPORTS TO: Support Coordinator

BRIEF

⮚ Assistance with Daily Personal Activities - to enable people with some complex needs to live as autonomously as possible - supports are provided by personnel with experience/qualification. You will be providing in home personal care & domestic assistance for our disabled participants. And taking participants to where they need to go.

**Duties**:
Medication assistance

Transport to and from appointments as needed

Cooking

Assistance with day to day living - where possible, capacity building in the participants’ life

Support to build independence and personal control

Varies in accordance with participants needs.

Other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL: Meet all NDIS reporting requirements.
- **#2 WORKER - 1 X PERSONAL CARE WORKER/SOCIAL SUPPORT**:

- **3-5 MORNINGS PW, ONGOING, OCCASIONAL SATURDAY - HILLCREST for a young boy, not mobile, nasal tube for food intake**:

- **7am-9am TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY ongoing, may eventuate 5 days pw**

USE OF LIFTER, USES ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR AND WHEELCHAIR DISABILITY VEHICLE

TRANSFERS WITH A 2ND WORKER

BATHS

DRESSING

REGULAR CHANGING OF NAPPIES ETC

MUST BE KIND, COMPASSIONATE AND PATIENT

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Disability Support Worker - Minimum Cert III in Disability**

ESSENTIAL:
Current DHS Disability Clearance & Working With Children Clearance

Current First Aid Certificate & CPR

Current Manual Handling Certificate

Medications
