**POSITION**:
We have an opportunity for experienced Disability Support Workers
**Newcastle region**.

**This role is based in Wickham.**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support workers (Female only) - Must be experienced with supporting clients with disabilities.
- Day and night hours - 7-hour day shifts and 2-hour night shifts 7 days a week - a range of day and night shifts are available.
- Support our client with personal care including bowel care, assisting client to bed with following bed routine, and with using hoist for safe transfers. Assist also with light domestic assistance and support with meal prep.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a **MUST**:

- Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience in either aged care, disabilities or community
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a **MUST**:

- Current First Aid certificate (mandatory)
- Current Police Check (mandatory)
- NDIS Worker screening check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination (fully vaccinated) as our work is around vulnerable people
