The Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) is a transformational public transport project that will bring more trains to your suburb and reduce travel times by running the busy Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury lines through a new tunnel. By untangling the City Loop, more trains can run more often across Melbourne.

We’ve finished digging twin 9km tunnels, and construction is underway on 5 new stations and testing of the new High Capacity Signalling system that will enable turn-up-and-go services.

Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
**Site Supervisor** to join the MTP Team.

**The Role**

Reporting into the OCS/ICT Delivery Manager, the site supervisor is responsible for supporting the construction, test and integration of OCS/ICT Infrastructure and systems.

This is a
**Fulltime, 2-year contract** position located in Melbourne’s CBD.

**Responsibilities**:
- Interpret customer and functional specifications, including requirements-
- Prepare scope documentation for specific activities/works-
- Assist in the detailed planning of project delivery and closeout activities-
- Manage RFI process, ensuring appropriate technical input and timely response-
- Maintain construction standards and conform to safety, reliability and quality-
- Engage contractors/suppliers and manage tendering, evaluation and contract award-
- Schedule work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to-
- Manage design information and drawings, including document issue to relevant parties-
- Assist the Delivery Manager with development of reports-
- Identify, track and resolve issues-
- Coordinate drawing redlines and as-built completion-
- Manage asset data collection and submission to MTM/PTV systems-
- Manage asset handover process, ensuring that all key stakeholders are involved, and project documentation is completed**About You**:
- Demonstrated construction and/or project delivery experience within Civil, Building Services, Electrical, Telecommunications, Radio or other Control Systems disciplines.-
- Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary design team(s) integrating systems / building services with architectural and structural disciplines is preferable.-
- Experience and knowledge of working within a rail environment, following rail procedures and processes is desirable.-
- Ability to transition detailed design packages into construction, according to defined standards / specifications.-
- Ability to plan, budget and organise work in an efficient and effective manner (i.e. good working knowledge of OH&S, rail safety, quality assurance and environmental management requirements).-
- Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors.-
- Proven ability to mediate, analyse and work under conditions of diversely conflicting requirements.-
- Possess analytical, evaluative and decision making skills.-
