We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Youth and Young Adults Coordinator, reporting to the Corps Officer. You will be responsible for supporting the Corps Officer in the delivery of the mission of The Salvation Army Eastlakes Corps through the development and facilitation of youth and young adults ministry, in an integrated setting.

This is a permanent part-time 15 hours per week position located in Belmont North, NSW.

You will successfully
- Complete general administration tasks including recording of statistical information are completed in accordance with TSA procedures, accurately and within agreed time frames.
- Undertake pastoral care and discipleship activities as agreed with the Corps Officer.
- Work together with a team to run Friday night Youth Activities.
- Coordinate Connect groups and Discipleship huddles for youth and young adults.
- Connect with the two local high schools to disciple young people
- Carry out all ministry activities in accordance with TSA policies and procedures

You will have
- An ability to offer pastoral assistance, to offer prayer and to explain the Christian Gospel
- Experience in a Ministry position (desirable)
- A solid understanding of TSA Doctrines & Principles (desirable)
- Capacity to facilitate groups and one to one with a particular focus e.g. faith-based groups
- Enrolled and active Solider of the Salvation Army - preferred
- A current and valid Working with Children Check
- A current NSW Drivers licence
- A willingness to undergo a National Police check
