**About the role**

**_ Key Responsibilities_**
- Respond to, investigate, and resolve cyber security alerts and events.
- Perform vulnerability scanning, coordinate remediation activities, and track closure.
- Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and records of security activities.
- Contribute to vendor risk assessments and security improvement initiatives.
- Support the organisation’s progress against recognised frameworks such as the ASD Essential Eight, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.

**Skills and experience**

**_ Essential:_**
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID.
- Understanding of recognised cyber security frameworks (ASD Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Experience in vulnerability management and incident response.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and document processes effectively.
- Min 2 COVID doses + current seasonal influenza vaccination

**_ _**_Desirable:_**
- Exposure to cloud security in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Experience automating workflows in cyber security platforms
