**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Legal, Regulatory & Standards (LRS) Lead** to join our Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) based at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.

Reporting to the Technical Governance Manager, the LRS Lead will be responsible for providing guidance and supporting the wider Chief Engineer's Office to ensure a systems orientated, integrated approach is taken with respect to technical governance activities identified within the Technical Governance Basis of Estimate.

- Key responsibilities include:_
- Lead in the management and administration of the Legislation, Regulation & technical Standards (LR&S) database
- Facilitate in the development and maintenance of the HCFP LR&S Compliance Report
- Maintain the HCFP LR&S Baseline and provide monthly compliance reporting to the Chief Engineer
- Support the coordination and delivery of the Technical Governance activities required for the Hunter Class Frigate Project (HCFP) in support of the Chief Engineers office. To include the following tasks:
- Leading the update and maintenance of user guides, processes and supporting documentation relating to the Delegation of Authority;
- Providing oversight for Delegation of Authority records maintained in the Enterprise Delegation of Authority Database (EDAD)
- Supporting the development and delivery of contractual documentation, as required from the HCFP Technical Governance scope;
- Provide support and advice to internal Engineering teams and, as required, external Suppliers in all matters related to the HCFP Technical Governance scope.
- Support additional tasks as required by the Technical Governance Manager.

**About YOU**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering along with Chartered Engineer Status (desirable).
- Significant experience within the Engineering or Legal/Commercial discipline
- Good understanding of the product design and manufacturing lifecycle
- Experience in effective use of Engineering Process, Methods, Tools and Infrastructure
- Experience participating in major reviews along with proven ability to function confidently within a project team environment
- Good communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers at all levels
- Current NV1 defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
