Our client, is a specialised service provider delivering high consequence transport, storage, supply chain services and logístical solutions to Domestic and International Clientele.

An opportunity is available now, for an experienced Transport Administrator to join their Sydney team, based in Smithfield.

You will need to provide all aspects of clerical and administrative tasks within the company's operation in Smithfield:

- Ensure jobs, equipment and staff are organised on a daily basis to meet their daily service requirements, including KPI’s and reports through effective scheduling and the establishment of productive relationships with customers
- Manage allocations and planning of fleet and drivers
- Plan, schedule and communicate with transport service providers
- Work closely with the WHS team, participating and promoting safety awareness
- Transport and operations knowledge within the Transport and Logistics industry
- Good knowledge of materials handling
- Good computer literacy skills - Microsoft Office
- Experience with transport management software (Translogix)
- High attention to detail - critical and logical thinking
- Experience with supervising a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- fleet allocating or scheduling: 2 years (required)
- transport industry: 2 years (required)
- port communication: 1 year (required)
- warehouse management software: 2 years (required)
