**Maintenance Manager**:

**About the role**

The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the planning, execution, and verification of all maintenance on vessels operating under the Regional Maintenance Provider - West (RMP-W) program. You are responsible for the planning and production teams and accountable to the RMP-W Program Director and client Maintenance Manager.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Responsibility for the quality, safety and timeliness of maintenance services;
- Develop, deliver and update Maintenance Management Plans;
- Ensure that all Maintenance Services provided by Subcontractors and Associated Parties are provided;
- Ensure that maintenance services are reported on in accordance with requirements;
- Ensure that each Subcontractor providing Maintenance Services has the opportunity to provide input as appropriate;
- Participate in the Authorised Maintenance Organisation within the Authorised Materiel Seaworthiness Delivery Organisation; and
- Assist the Asset Class Principal Maintenance Manager in the planning, management and delivery of their accountabilities.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management or another relevant discipline;
- Extensive maintenance experience in a field relevant to the sustainment of Naval Assets;
- Proven record of development, management and compliance with a maintenance governance structure compliant with or comparable to the DSwMS;
- Working knowledge of Asset Management best practise;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent negotiation skills, including those skills required to work effectively within a matrix organisation;
- Proven collaborative leader;
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel;
- Previous experience with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and/or the Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG);
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level;
- AGSVA Negative Vetting - NV1
- Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence;
- Construction Induction Card (White Card); and
- No restrictions to access For Official Use Only (FOUO) level or ITAR controlled material.
