NJM Design is a multi-disciplinary building services engineering consultancy based in the Melbourne CBD, servicing clients around Australia. We've been around for 16 years and complete over 500 projects every year. This is an exciting new role due to the business's growth, which will be essential to continuous growth and the smooth operation of the company.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to be part of the ESD team. The role will be full time 9am to 5.30pm with flexibility if needed.

**Position Summary**

Your primary role will be to assist in the delivery of NJM’s multidisciplinary engineering services through your design skills to undertake ESD ratings and assessments using a variety of ESD measures and requirements.

**Qualifications & experience**
- At least 3 years working in a similar role locally in an ESD role.
- IES VE Software
- Bluebeam

**Duties & responsibilities**

Your specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Scoping, designing, documenting, and presenting the ESD reports of projects for which NJM has been commissioned. This can include First Rate assessments, Section J and JV3 reports and assessments, ESD and SMP reports, daylight modelling, thermal and energy modelling, WSUD reports
- Assistance and guidance to design resources as appropriate for multi-disciplinary projects to ensure ESD measures are incorporated in the design.
- Maintaining cordial relationships with architects, clients, project managers and builders/contractors.
- Developing NJM’s client base further.
- Assist in maintaining and further developing NJM’s quality assurance procedures and practices
- Developing your knowledge and understanding of Sustainability Standards and regulations
