Contract Position
- Construction jobsites in Brisbane, QLD
- Onsite position

**About the role**
Working to support the Managers, individual staff across 2 sites in Brisbane. The aim - to ensure the health and safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors to site. Working with management to ensure that all sites comply with relevant Work Health and Safety legislative requirements. This will include:

- Ensuring our safety management system fully complies with all applicable standards, legislative requirements and client expectations;
- Administration and maintenance of all ISO accreditation requirements
- Provide advice to senior management and employees in relation to work health and safety compliance and initiatives;
- Identify internal and external safety training needs for the company and implement accordingly;
- Maintain vehicles and equipment registry’s
- Manage and maintain subcontractor’s compliance
- Coordinate the company’s internal and external audit and inspection processes;
- Facilitate the company’s hazard identification and risk management processes;
- Coordinate our incident reporting and investigation processes ensuring all incidents are investigated and closed out appropriately;
- Assist with coordinating the companies injury management, rehabilitation and return to work program;
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have the following:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS or related field;
- Flexible “can do attitude”
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, and have a proven ability to come up with workable solutions
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Be willing to undergo a Police Check to work within childcare/educational facilities
- Trade experience will be looked on favourably

**Relevant Experience and Skillset Desired**:

- WHS qualification
- Construction Card
- Construction Experience - Working as a WHS Officer
- ISO knowledge would be advantageous
- Solid knowledge surrounding WHS Legislative requirements in QLD
- Intermediate to Advanced PC skills
