We have an exciting opportunity for a client focused Data Analyst to join a highly passionate team that is dedicated to improving the outcomes and experience of our Advisers through sales and marketing analytics. This role will influence through analysis of data, performance measurement, assessment of trends and development of actionable insights and recommendations. It's an impactful role for a commercially astute analyst who is seeking an innovative and results oriented environment. **What you will do - Engages with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions, and goals. Brings structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical project approach, and supports projects through completion. - Work closely with Data Engineers, DataOps and Data Scientists to develop the Data & Analytics framework - Data Lake, Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, ad-hoc reports and insights. - Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy and reasonableness. - Performs analys i s of historical data to surface trends and insights using analytical methods. - Prepares and delivers visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement. - May own and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes. - Liaise with both technical and business stakeholders directly to ensure business aligned delivery **What We Are Looking For - Experience developing Tableau reports and visualisations on an AWS eco-system and on-prem environments to deliver insightful analysis and reporting solutions - Sound knowledge in SQL, ERD and Dimensional Modelling including with ETL processes/data integration frameworks, such as with Data Lake houses, Data Warehouses and Data Lakes - Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills with the a bility to translate business needs to system and software/data requirements. - Experience participating in scrum-based agile teams - A s elf - s tarter who's c omfortable with a mbiguity and d emonstrable l earning a gility. - Capability to question the status quo, challenge yourself and the business on the value that will be delivered to our customers with clear justification for change. - Degree qualified in a relevant commercial, analytical or mathematical discipline **Specialisations that will make an impact: - Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly Investment Management. **Inclusion Statement** Vanguard's continued commitment to diversity and inclusion is firmly rooted in our culture.
