**How you’ll make an impact**

You will play a vital role in providing person-centered assistance with household tasks for each client, supporting them to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible. You will have the opportunity to build long lasting trusted relationships with your clients and make a real difference, everyday.

A day in the life as a Domestic Assistant at Regis Aged Care may see you support our Clients with;
- Provide services to the client in their home as outlined in the Care Plan, and regularly review the Care Plan to ensure you have an up to date understanding of particular client circumstances, needs and services.
- Carrying out duties of general cleaning, Meal preparation, un-escorted shopping, companionship and support around the client’s home.
- You will monitor the client and their environment and report any issues, needs, changes or suggestions to your Client Services manager.

As a compassionate and reliable individual who prides themselves with delivering customer service excellence, you’ll have;
- A warm and caring nature
- A positive and practical attitude and ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills
- A current driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable, insured and registered vehicle
- First Aid / CPR Qualifications

**To be eligible you will require**
- Professional References, current year flu (when available) and a Police Check
- Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
