Support Worker

We are looking for a caring and reliable female (clients choice due to the nature of the care requirements) Support Worker who has experience with Complex care for our female client in her late 60's living in South Morang.

Personal Care and need to show initiative, have experience, be highly interactive and personable is a must.

We have regular ongoing work, with regular clients, so you will know when and who you will be working with + Work close to home - we don't expect you to travel across town

Task include:

- Personal Care
- Assistance with medication
- Meal Preparation + cooking
- Community Access
- Companionship
- Domestic Assistance

Ideally, you will have some experience in the health sector, but if not, we would still love to hear from you if this is a career you want to pursue.

A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desired but not essential)
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

As a support worker you will be supporting people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, assistance in the community and being a companion
- Qualified support workers will also support clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility and prompting with medication
- Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices
- Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the participant

To Be Successful:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willing to apply
