Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services.
AV is seeking an experienced Employee Communication Advisor to design, deliver and evaluate a strategic approach to internal communication that delivers on the Communication and Engagement Division's purpose and the Ambulance Victoria (AV) Strategic Plan.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Employee Communication, you will work with business units across AV and provide strategic communication advice, develop strategies and create engagement plans to ensure maximum impact of messaging that support AV's strategic plan.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting the development and delivery of integrated communication content and campaigns to engage and inform staff, stakeholders, and the wider community
- Enhance employee engagement through timely, effective and relevant communications
- Support the strategic communication function with the implementation of appropriate frameworks and systems

ABOUT YOU

**To be considered for this position, you will also possess**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism) or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Content and campaign experience using digital and traditional platforms
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic communication strategies and programs
- Understanding of best practice strategic communication and behaviour change in a complex organisation
- Excellent communication, analytical and business writing skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional judgement and ethical vision to make and influence quality decisions
- Availability to work outside ordinary hours as required

Successful applicants need to provide evidence of having received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check.
This position is graded an AV4 for which the salary range is $95,695 - $119,761 pa plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade.
