**Warehouse & Dispatch Manager**

**The Business**

Our client is a 40-year-old market leading brand in the FMCG space, coming from humble beginnings in the 80's to recently being valued at $1.6b. This growth has been made possible through strong supplier relationships, innovation, and a laser-focused approach to quality. Due to massive growth over the past 24 months and a recent and ongoing operational overhaul, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Dispatch Manager on a permanent basis to join and add value both to the business and the wider warehouse and dispatch team. **This role also has a set-in-stone development path to a broader managerial role, essentially looking after the whole processing operation.**

**This role has the following reports**: 1 x Supervisor, 3 x Team Leaders, Storemen. (With plans to grow)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be the Order & Inventory Management Super User responsible for the effective training and streamlining of information flow within the dispatch team.
- KPIs to include cost reduction from effective space utilisation and order management, zero Inventory Write Offs, right first-time inventory, and palletisation control and on time customer delivery.
- Responsible for rostering team dispatch are resourcing and training to Operational Standards
- Plan pickup and delivery of orders in such a way as to minimize cost and to optimise dispatch resourcing and scheduling
- Ensure compliance to all training and certification requirements are up to date and maintained
- Develop a highly functional warehouse system that delivers safe storage for all materials on site, no unplanned run out of material, reduction in stock on hand aligned to KPI, FEFO and KanBan for relevant stock, stock-take accuracy >98% and daily cycle count process for returned stock
- Create and environment in your team that delivers year on year engagement result improvements, manage resources to achieve operational requirements, develop and support team to perform at optimum level and achieve success

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar managerial role.
- Experience working with food very desirable but also very open to experience coming from other fast paced FMCG environments.
- Commercially capable and diligent with a focus on achieving company goals
- A self-motivated, persuasive, and passionate leader and an agent for change who's keen to challenge the status quo
- Proven ability to train, coach, develop and mentor staff
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
