As part of a new structure to set our organisation up to delivery quality supports and to grow into the future, we have created a **House Coordinator** position to oversee SIL operations of several houses.

The House Coordinator is responsible to lead a team of Disability Support Workers, manage and oversee service delivery of each service outlet, and ensure a happy, safe, home for participants. The House coordinator will also ensure professional standards, legislative requirements and the organization mission, values and objectives are met in accordance with the strategic plan. The successful applicant will be highly adaptable and an active team player.

**Skills and experience**
- The applicant will have experience working in a similar role, particularly knowledge of best practice rostering procedures in a similar industry.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with staff and managers to coordinate shifts.
- Well-developed capacity to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- Previous experience with rostering software like Dock'd
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Managing a team of support workers within a service outlet and/or community setting
- Undertaking rostering of support workers ensuring that participants have appropriate care
- Developing and implementing high quality care plans for HH participants.
- Collaborating with participants and relevant stakeholders to gather input for developing person-centered care plans for HH participants and assisting to work towards achieving their individual goal.
- Delivering consistent and quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor Participant service notes, including recording charts and Incidents to ensure quality service is delivered
- Managing, responding to, and resolving participant queries and concerns in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Managing participant complaints and appeals to effective resolution
- Conducting regular property inspection
- Performing ad hoc duties and implement decisions as requested by the Management

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience leading a team of support workers
- Providing quality, therapeutic supports in the SIL environment
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Support or working to the equivalent
- Mental Health Training (Desirable)
- Medication Training
- NDIS Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Australian driver’s license (International license not accepted)
- Access to a car
- Minimum of 12 months’ work-related experience in similar role (Desirable)
- Availability from Monday to Friday
- Covid Vaccination

Schedule: 40 hrs. a week

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Housing Coordinator: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Screening Check (required)
