Peak Crossing State School is aclose knit team with 8 multi-age classes from P-6 and a total student enrolment of 190. We are located at the northern end of the Fassifern Valley and easily accessible from Ipswich and other areas using the Cunningham Highway. We have recently introduced a school wide systematic synthetic phonics program and utilise a range of pedagogical strategies including explicit instruction (Archer and others) and the learning and assessment waterfall (Sharratt).
