**The role**

The Finance Analysts are primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Business Partners in ensuring all accounting, analysis, forecasting and reporting is performed efficiently and accurately for the Integrated Gas Assets. This position works closely with the relevant Commercial Team in delivering against these responsibilities.

The position is flexibly office based, operating in a stable but demanding environment that requires self-motivated individuals who are able to actively participate, challenge and contribute to a wide range of operational business issues.
- Delivering timely and accurate reporting for management reporting on costs and key financial performance metrics
- Assist with the preparation of the asset Operating Opex and Capital spend budgets and quarterly forecast
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate to key internal stakeholders and shareholders to ensure alignment of business strategy and drivers
- Collaborating with and challenging internal stakeholders to drive business change and identify opportunities in the business
- Proactively contributing to development and improvement of reporting, analysis, and processes

**About you**

To succeed in this role you’ll be self-motivated, with the ability to build strong internal relationships, who can work effectively in an environment that is fast paced and with a high level of personal accountability. You will also have a commitment to achieving end results and resolving obstacles and a proactive outlook. Plus, you will have good time management skills, efficient and able to prioritise to ensure deadlines are achieved. You will also have good attention to detail and analysis skills.

MORE ABOUT YOU
- A Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or engineering; CA/CPA qualifications desirable
- Experience in an accounting/finance related role, with management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience or an interest in gaining
- Able to acquire new knowledge and skills rapidly and easily
- Good interpersonal and communication skills - persuasion, delegation, and leadership
- Joint venture complexity knowledge
