
Operations Assistant

**Purpose/Objective**:
1. To provide administrative and Operational support to the Director and community engagement manager.
2. To participate in the process of review, development, and evaluation of administrative and operational processes.
**Responsibilities**:
To support the management of ELS office operations by
- 1. Assistance with recruitment of disability staff and rostering
- Advertising roles online
- Organizing interviews
- Recruitment paperwork and signup
- Assist with staff Induction and introduction to clients.
- Coordinate with staff and clients for support setup.
2. To manage and maintain records in accordance with legislative requirements and the ELS Office Procedures Manual, including:
- Human Resource Records
- Payroll Records
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Taxation
- Superannuation
- Motor Vehicle Fleet
- Insurances
- Other office reporting
3. Help build social media strategy by
- Help create a strategy and contribute to the social media calendar.
- Create and post relevant content on social media
4. Maintaining and recording data with accuracy on office registers including
- Suppliers
- Assets
- Passwords
5. Assisting with other online marketing attempts.
6. Assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
7. Assisting with the calculation and processing of fortnightly payroll.
8. Answering phone calls and coordinating with staff as required.
1. Excellent and Proficient English Language both written and verbal.
2. Experienced and highly skilled with Microsoft office suite including O365 suite and other software.
3. Highly skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Access.
4. Knowledge and experience of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
5. Knowledge of website building platforms such as Wix and WordPress.
6. Experienced working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, MYOB, and Xero.
7. Knowledge and experience of rostering management and client management systems.
8. To perform other office duties and tasks as negotiated with the director.

**Salary**: $31.00 - $34.65 per hour
