About us
The Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV) has jurisdiction under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 to hear cases involving children and young people up to the age of 18 years, and in some cases up to 19 years. It has a Family Division and a Criminal Division and it sits at locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
About the role
The ChCV leadership is committed to providing staff with learning and development opportunities to build the capability of our people and to ensure all staff are skilled and equipped to provide a consistently high standard of judicial support and registry services at all ChCV venues.
Reporting to the Senior Trainer, the Training Registrar will be critical in supporting learning and development programs and activities across the Children's Court. This role will also be critical to ensuring the successful implementation of the case management system (CMS), as well as playing an ongoing training and support role to court staff and judicial officers state-wide.
