**Position: Childcare Photographer**

**Contract Type: Casual/Subcontractor**

**Pay: $45 -60 AUD per hour**

**The Role**

As a **Childcare Photographer**, your ability to **connect with children** is just as important as your photography skills. You'll be working in childcare centres, where patience, energy, and a playful approach are key to capturing beautiful, natural smiles.

**What You’ll Do**:
✔ **Engage with children** in a fun, friendly, and patient manner to encourage natural expressions.
✔ Photograph children in various childcare settings, capturing **high-quality, joyful images**.
✔ Create a **relaxed, positive atmosphere** where kids feel comfortable and happy.
✔ Follow **Playgroup Photos’ guidelines** **& workflows**to ensure consistent & professional results.
✔ Manage time effectively to meet deadlines, particularly during busy school terms.
✔ Communicate with our team regarding schedules and any special client requests.

**What We’re Looking For**:
✔ **Proven experience in photography**, ideally with a focus on childcare or portrait photography.
✔ A **strong portfolio** showcasing your ability to capture authentic, happy moments.
✔ **Excellent interpersonal skills**—you must genuinely enjoy working with young children and know how to interact with them in a fun, engaging way.
✔ Ability to work **independently** as a subcontractor within a flexible schedule.
✔ **Patience, energy, and enthusiasm**—children feed off your vibe
✔ **Valid Working with Children Check & Driver’s License.**

**Your Schedule & Workload**

⭐ Guaranteed work during school terms, with **a minimum of 3 shoot days per week** until late November.

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Photography: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Central Coast NSW (required)
