Trainer & Assessor

Affirm Training, our Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivers a broad selection of nationally recognised courses and business specific training, for corporate, facilities management, construction, arts, recreational and entertainment individuals, and businesses.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team in a casual capacity, delivering face-to-face training across the following short courses:

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation
- PUAER005 Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
- PUAFER004 Respond to facility emergencies
- PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Facilitation of training for a range of short courses
- Completion of student assessments; both practical and written
- Timely submission of accurate paperwork
- Delivery of courses within the stipulated time frames
- Responsible for own work environment.

**Essential Criteria**:‍
- TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:

- TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A and TAESS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- HLTAID011, HLTAID009, PUAFER006, PUAER005, PUAFER004 and PUAFER008
- Must have minimum 1 year experience as a Trainer & Assessor
- Have current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning, including competency-based training and assessment.
