**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for Operations Data Specialists to join the Operations team based in Brisbane.

As an Operations Data Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the operations business, processes, and environment is understood to support the smooth and efficient implementation of all data management initiatives including data initiatives resulting from business and portfolio change initiatives. You will work closely with the Data Custodian and Data Steward in the business unit to ensure data responsibilities receive adequate support.

You will also work closely with the Transformation Delivery business unit and draw on your in-depth knowledge and experience of member data, the financial services industry, business operations and business processes/systems to understand and technically analyse customer and business needs utilising member data, to identify and drive value add solutions and reduced risk.

This role is available as a **permanent** opportunity.

We are **flexible** with location provided you can attend our **Brisbane** office at least once a week.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

- Extensive experience in the superannuation industry and understanding of business operational processes and best practice use of member data is required.
- Experience working with high volumes of sensitive data including documenting definitions, process design, analysing data and improving its quality.
- Demonstrated skill in analytical and data extraction tools and techniques, including modelling of data, systems, people and processes.
- Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative, and engaging approach; including the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate and influence with a broad range of people at all levels in a medium sized corporate environment.
- Highly developed analytical and organisational mindset together with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures as required.
