**About the Role**

Black Star Pastry is going from strength to strength and we are looking for a new team members for our beautiful St Kilda store located in the iconic Prince of Wales precinct.

This gorgeous space offers the full range of Black Star Pastry’s signature cakes, together with savoury offerings, and first-class coffee from our partner St Ali.

We are on the look out for a full-time and a casual Barista/Front-of-House All Rounder to become valued members of the team.

This role will be assisting making coffee as well as serving our customers. We are looking for a people focused person who loves working in a team and delivering the best experience to our guests.

Opening hours will be Wed-Sun, 8am to 4pm.

**About You**
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Barista/Cafe All-Rounder
- Specialty coffee experience essential - we partner with St Ali
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Ability to connect with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Motivated and positive team player
- Gets a kick out of maintaining consistent product quality
- Authentic and down to earth with a genuine love of people

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with stores across Sydney and Melbourne

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
