**Instrument Technician Grade 1 - 4**

An exciting opportunity currently exists for enthusiastic Instrument Technicians to join our Sterilising Services Departments across all Monash Health sites.

**About You**
- **For Grade 1**
- Has less than 3 month experience, (fulltime equivalent) as an Instrument Technician and doesn’t hold an Instrument Technician qualification
- **For Grade 2**
- Certificate III in Health-Sterilising Practice for Technicians or equivalent and less than 12 months experience
- **For Grade 3**
- Certificate III in Health-Sterilising Practice for Technicians or equivalent and greater than 12 months experience (full time equivalent)
- **For Grade 4**
- Have a Certificate IV in Sterilising Services and minimum of 3 years’ experience (full time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician in a hospital setting

**About You**:

- Have a good knowledge of AS 5369:2023
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be highly organised and motivated with the ability to multitask in a busy workplace
- Have ability to prioritise with a high attention to detail
- Be team orientated

**Selection Criteria**:
**Grade 1**
- Willingness to learn processes relating to Sterilisation and reprocessing of reusable medical devices
- Have experience working in sterilisation services with no qualification

**Grade 2 - 4**
- Certificate III/IV in Health and Sterilising
- Experience working as an Instrument technician as per relevant classification

**Important Information to Note**

Offers of employment can only be made once all required probity checks have been completed. These include:

- Reference checks;
- A clear Police Check conducted within the last three months;
- a current Victorian Employee Working with Children’s Check (or proof of payment for same);
- Proof of immunisation.
