We're looking for an
**Application Support Specialist** to work between unit and customer to ensure alignment of Business Applications Services with the rest of the business. This role is responsible for daily operations of the Business Applications in providing support specifically to the core business systems of NG Sustainment and Modernisation Services.

This position is based at our Mascot Office (Sydney, NSW).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to analyse business information needs and subsequently deliver solution based on business requirements
- Analyse current systems capabilities and deliver upgrades where necessary
- Analyse current reporting tools and recommend new or upgraded systems for reporting

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of software engineering life cycle processes, planning, scheduling and execution with respect to the plan.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passionate about supporting high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
- Interact with customer to gather, validate, document functional & non-functional requirements.
- Well-developed communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide support to multiple customers.
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance
