About the role

Our Melbourne Hydraulic section is seeking a BIM Leader to contribute to the growth and success of the team. We are looking for someone that can provide technical expertise and lead the Hydraulics BIM Modelling group.

Main responsibilities:

- \tLead the BIM team and be responsible for BIM standards and development, implementation, and management
- \tCoordinate multi‐disciplinary activities and inputs by the modelling team
- \tSupport our delivery teams during design and construction
- \tProvide support and mentoring to Junior staff members
- \tParticipate in design reviews
- \tProvide assurance of having personally checked the work carried out.
- \tContribute to our company culture
- \tBring value to in-house design meetings
- \tIncorporate new BIM related software and technologies
- \tCorrespond with our Modelling team in Pune

Experience and qualifications:

- \tHave experience working within an engineering consultancy
- \tBroad knowledge and experience in the Hydraulics industry
- \tHave advanced knowledge of building services sector.
- \tExperience working with BIM, Revit, CAD, Navisworks.
- \tUnderstanding of BIM Workflows and project setup
- \tSelf-motivated, resourceful and an excellent communicator.
- \tInterpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external clients
- \tLeadership skills to mentor and motivate employees and to be a role model within the business
- \tAble to do troubleshooting issues with BIM models.
- \tOrganisational skills to prioritise work with the team to meet business and project delivery needs
- \tHighly developed problem solving and negotiation skills to resolve disputes that arise
