**Support Worker - Victor Harbor Area**

**Position**: Support Worker
**Location**: Victor Harbor, South Australia
**Employment Type**: Casual/Part-Time

Are you a compassionate and skilled support worker with experience in manual handling and seizure management? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to clients in the Victor Harbor area.

**About the Role**:
As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with their daily living activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with individuals who require support due to physical or neurological conditions, including managing seizure-related care needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care, including hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and medication support.
- Implement safe and effective manual handling techniques as required.
- Support clients during and after seizures, following established seizure management plans.
- Facilitate community access and engagement in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven experience with manual handling and seizure management.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.62 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
