Your new role
This is a newly created role within the Fund, giving you the opportunity to help define and scope the role, build meaningful relationships and gain buy in to the newly expanded team.
Reporting into the Principal, Product Enablement (another new role within the Fund), you will be responsible for the day-to-day product management activities related to our suite of superannuation and retirement products, focusing on regulatory reporting and governance matters to ensure best practice frameworks, policies, and procedures.
In this hands-on role, you will work closely with Senior Managers and the Principal in the team, supporting their functions, assisting with the implementation of Keystone Objective, and providing SME support.
Key duties and responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Prepare quarterly and annual product reviews to monitor growth trends, fees and costs, financial health and customer voice metrics agreed assessment criteria and recommend actions plans to address issues arising.
- Lead the data sourcing and co-ordination of external rating agency surveys to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any submissions and work with Principal to ensure relationships with research houses continue to be fostered.
- Continually review, develop, and enhance data sourcing processes.
- Manage the disclosure due diligence process using Keystone Objective, working closely with the Communications, Operations, Investments and Compliance teams.
- Continually review, develop, and enhance product governance processes to ensure fit for purpose, efficient and member centric.
- Work with the retirement and accumulation teams on key product development initiatives, including input into design, business requirements and testing.
- Provide SME support to other projects as required.
- Assist with ensuring all legislative and risk requirements are met (including GRC).
**What you’ll need**
- 5+ years’ experience in a Product role within financial services preferably within superannuation
- Sound knowledge of superannuation, retirement, and investment products
- Working knowledge of Keystone Objective, ideal
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, partnership and influencing skills with an ability to negotiate and coordinate deadlines with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of member needs and translation to product offers
- Ability to troubleshoot with strong analytical skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative, creative, and curious with a strong growth mindset.
- RG146 or a willingness to obtain
