**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with key stakeholders to coordinate Enterprise Integrated Planning and develop integrated organisational plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved.
- Drive the performance and execution of program management disciplines through effective communication and engagement with our primary customers.
- Support the Program Manager in the execution of customer relationship management by ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the program's status and performance.
- Ensure effective coordination of all P-8A Program priority issues to ensure delivery against our commitments.
- Provide support to the Program Manager and execution leads in relation to: program governance and performance; workforce planning; risk management; and stakeholder management.
- Ensure timely distribution of technical and business reports to the leadership team and customer.
- Provide the vital conduit to the internal functions and capabilities such as Human Resources, Quality, Environment Health and Safety, Finance, Contracts, Security, Facilities, Trade Controls, Data Management and Training.
- Lead by example to ensure conformance with BDA's values and policies, especially in relation to workplace safety, equity and diversity and environmental management.
- Monitor project performance to ensure the optimal delivery and achievement of program goals in support of the P-8A Poseidon fleet.
- Effectively identify and meet customer's requirements, build productive relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate recording of metrics for the availability performance of the program.
- Act as the SME for project management disciplines.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Strong leadership skills and effective management techniques to ensure that the co-ordination and prioritisation of program requirements are consistently met
- Extensive project management knowledge and understand what is required to execute successful programs
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in project management, engineering or, aircraft technical environment
- High level communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams and key internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of airworthiness standards and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Defence Aviation Safety Regulations
- Work exceptionally well in a team environment with outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability to hold, or obtain, an Australian defence security clearance to Negative Vetting 1 level
