**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a talented **Engineering Services Manager** to support the P-8A Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

The Engineering Services Manager has responsibility for all functional departments of the P-8A Through Life Support Engineering Team which is responsible for delivery of Engineering & Technical Services to the RAAF P-8A Poseidon Program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Integrating and providing guidance to the P-8A engineering teams and participating as a member of the P-8A Program Leadership Team
- Working collaboratively with capability groups and resource managers to maintain a multi-disciplined and professional engineering team.
- Working with the Platform Chief Engineer to provide technical guidance and advice to the P-8A Program Manager and all program participants.
- Achieving the timely execution of all engineering, configuration and data management tasks.
- Engaging with multiple customer organisations on all engineering matters to achieve continuing airworthiness targets.
- Planning and prioritising design assurance and configuration assurance activities to meet capability requirements.
- Ensuring that quality goals are achieved and corrective action is initiated when services delivered fail to comply with stated performance standards
- Ensuring relevant engineering processes are adhered to and improvement / development of those processes is promoted
- Managing engineering team budget as a cost account manager

**Experience/Qualifications**
- A working knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations
- The ability to develop and effectively communicate to senior management the status, issues, risks and opportunities for improvements as they relate to engineering management
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
- Experience in an engineering management role preferred
- Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience
