**We have an opportunity for a Clinical Coding Educator to join our team at The Wesley Hospital in a permanent, full-time position.**

- Reporting to the Group Clinical Coding Manager, the role of the Clinical Coding Educator is to develop, implement and coordinate the Clinical Coding Education Program, including; coder competencies, education, training sessions and feedback based on outcomes of internal and external audits.- Working effectively with your team and utilising your communication and interpersonal skills, you will undertake a leadership role in coding decisions, mentoring and supporting the hospital to maintain an accurate and consistent coding service.- You will Need:
- Previous experience working in a private hospital setting
- Bachelor of Health Information Management (HIM) OR
- Equivalent HIMAA Accredited Clinical Coding Certification
- Knowledge and understanding of health fund contracts
- Proven auditing and education experience
- Experience with Cerner Patient Systems and PICQ - _desirable_
