Founded in 1955, RJV is a leading Western Australian multidisciplinary civil construction and mining services provider. With core capabilities in Civil Infrastructure, Mining Services, Urban Renewal and Marine Infrastructure we are experiencing a period of significant and sustainable growth.

We are looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and a Leading Hand to join our growing team. Working on a regional civil construction project with a Tier 1 Gold Company in the Northern Pilbara with flights direct to site from Perth. We are flexible to both Permanent and Casual positions.

**Accountabilities of the HD Fitter role**:

- Maintain and adhere to a safe work environment.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on RJV assets earthmoving and equipment, trucks, LV’s and any hired equipment as directed.
- Carry out designated tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Carry out equipment repair and defect and repair.
- Inspect machinery and develop a scope.
- The ability to use diagnostic tooling.
- Complete all required RJV documentation.
- Liaise with site maintenance supervisor.
- Maintaining equipment to OEM standards.

**About you**:

- Have CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi experience.
- Be able to complete a pre-employment medical screening and police check.
- Hold a WA drivers Licence, HR preferable.
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.
- Be able to work unsupervised as an individual or as a team member.

**Accountabilities of the Leading Hand role**:

- To report all major defects - repairs directly back to the maintenance supervisor in a reasonable time frame.
- Inspect Machinery and develop a work scope.
- Mentor team members.
- Diagnose and fault find on equipment and resolve.
- Ensure all RJV Health and Safety Policies are implemented and strictly adhered too.
- Responsible for data entry.
- To oversee work areas and general housekeeping.
- Time management of the maintenance personnel.

**About you**:

- 5 years’ experience as a HD Fitter.
- Comfortable looking after a site workshop of 10 personnel.
- HR Licence essential.
- Highly motivated with good scheduling and coordination skills of site personnel.
