Distribution Centre Store Person

Counter balance Forklift driving (License required)
- Reach Truck
- General understanding of warehouse procedures

Maxima have been engaged to recruit an experienced store person to work in a busy Distribution Centre based in the Western suburbs.

**The Role**

This is an ongoing casual position with the view to permanency after a trial period.
- Duties include:_
- Unloading trucks using a counterbalance Forklift
- Accessing pallets from pallet racking using a Reach Truck
- Acceptance / Receipt of Goods
- Breaking Down Pallets and Placing Boxes in Racking
- Picking and assembly of components
- Replenishment of Stock
- Picking and Packing Orders

Span of Hours of work are between 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday however generally around 8am - 4pm is standard working hours (depending on order levels etc).

**About You**

You enjoy working a friendly team environment. You have a customer focus and are keen to learn new skills and advance in a large company. You have the following experience, qualifications and knowledge.
- Warehouse / Logistics Experience
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Strong team player
- Good Computer Literacy
- Great attention to detail
- Physical fitness for manual work / ability to pass a full medical
- Current Police Clearance (or ability to attain)
- Current Drivers’ License
- High-Risk Forklift License
