School Canteen Manager

**Job Overview**

**We are looking to hire a School Canteen Manager to manage our school canteen in Highgate / Marryatville**

Term 1 2025 Start.

Metro Canteens believes in freshly prepared food on site each day so the successful applicant must have previous extensive food preparation experience.
- **Professional food preparation or Chef**_experience will be looked at very favorably.

Role involves preparation of hot and cold set menu items for over the counter service and the preparation and packing of lunch orders through the QKR ordering system to be delivered to the adjoining Junior Campus.

The successful applicant will also be required to successfully manage the overall operation of the canteen which includes ordering, reporting and ensuring the financial success of the canteen.
- **Annual salary may be offered**_to the successful applicant dependent on experience after qualifying period.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 2.30pm approx.

School friendly

The successful applicant will be responsible for a support staff member who will report to them.

Applicant must be well presented.

Applicant must have a valid Working With Children Clearance and Food Safety Supervisors Certificate.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $34.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- No weekends
