We have a **Coordinator **opportunity in a large 85 licence service (average ASC attendance of 64) in **Highgate**.

**About the role**

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

**About the service**

This existing service averages 18 children in before school care and 64 children in after school care. There is a great relationship with the school, with a long-standing supportive inner community. Operating two separate programs for a junior and senior group, the service has their own office, kitchen, admin space, and utilises the schools indoor and outdoor spaces.

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
