**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager, the Cyber Security Analyst acts as a technical specialist for Cyber Security operations at ASC ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of ASC data and information systems.

This role works in the Cyber Security team performing proactive management of cyber security risks and threats and responsible for the planning, design, implementation and maintenance of cyber security tools, processes and operational procedures.

This role is a full-time Permanent position based in Osborne, SA.

**Responsibilities**
- Relevant experience or qualifications in Information Technology or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, experience and skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Previous proven experience in administration of IT systems based on Microsoft, Linux or Cisco technologies and Cyber Security solutions such as SIEM, EDR and Security Operation technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration of Cyber Security or IT systems management toolsets.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, documentation and implementation of Cyber Security solutions.
- Expert knowledge in managing and maintaining IT system toolsets and networks.

- Experience in assessing and managing cyber security risks and threats in a complex network environment.
- Experience in responding to cyber security incidents.
- Able to work under broad direction to implement effective Cyber Security Operations improvements and increase cyber security maturity.
- Able to demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, discipline, and an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

**Eligibility**

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
