Procurement Coordinator

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Raise and issue Purchase Orders with approved suppliers in ERP system
- Monitor stock availability to meet demand and update stock arrival ETA’s
- Proactively follow up outstanding purchase orders and overdue items
- Source alternative products/suppliers as required
- Maintain effective supplier relationships to meet customer demands
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality and delivery terms
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Purchasing Information Records / Agreements
- Management, correction and processing of blocked invoices

To be considered applicants **SHOULD** have:

- Relevant qualifications in Procurement or considerable experience in a similar role
- Proven problem solving, research and diagnostic skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work to deadlines
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
- Knowledge and ability to operate SAP and Microsoft Office packages
