**Trade Assistant - Afternoon Shift**

**Inspect, Monitor and Maintain**

Hanson is looking to recruit a **Trade Assistant**, to work alongside our afternoon shift Maintenance Team, to inspect, monitor and maintain fixed plant chutes, screen mat changes, crusher change outs and conveyor maintenance. This role will be based at our **Red Hill Quarry**, 45 minutes north east of Perth. This permanent, full time opportunity offers hours as follows: 1400 - 0030 (Monday - Thursday) 1400 - 2230 (Friday) with occasional overtime as required.

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Conduct routine chute & feeder inspections
- Enter and work in confined spaces
- Work at heights
- Monitor hot work fire watch
- Assist with general metal work (cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.)
- Support plant housekeeping and clean up
- Conduct risk assessments for tasks being undertaken (including rescue & lift plans)

**This role is a great fit for you if you**:

- Fitting experience in Farming or Mining Industry
- Have welding experience (must have)
- Have a Confined space ticket and a Working at Heights ticket
- Have a Forklift ticket
- Hold an EWP, CN and Dogging/Rigging Tickets (highly regarded)
