**About the role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Transport Modeller to support our Transport Planning and Advisory business based in Melbourne. You will have the opportunity to work alongside one of the largest and most experienced transport modelling teams.

You will bring your extensive expertise to drive the development of transportation solutions focused on transport accessibility and public transport. You will be proficient in various analytics and modelling tools and have experience in managing and delivering projects.

**Day to day tasks would involve**:

- Support multi-modal transport studies, network and corridor strategies from project inception, model development, option testing through to concept and detailed design stages.
- Micro, Meso and Macro transport modelling.
- Multi-modal transport studies and corridor strategies.
- Reporting and presenting traffic modelling findings to clients.
- Work with the transport modelling team to identify innovative solutions to our projects using Big Data and Scripting

**To be successful for this role you'll need**:

- 3 to 5 years’ experience in operational modelling
- Competence using traffic simulation software such as Vissim, Visum, Aimsun and SIDRA
- Attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel data processing including Power query, PowerBI
- Skills/capabilities with scripting languages would also be highly valued (e.g. SQL, Python, R, VBA)
